Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. Our privacy-first commitment

HostSave was built for customers who value privacy. We collect the minimum information required to provide our services and never require government identification (no KYC) to open an account.

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using HostSave you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Account information: an email address and a password (stored only as a secure one-way hash). Optionally, a display name or company name.

Service data: the domains, hosting plans, and other services you order, along with the technical records needed to provision and manage them.

Billing data: wallet balances and order history stored in whole cents. When you pay with cryptocurrency, payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your wallet keys or card numbers.

Support data: messages you send us through support tickets and the contact form so we can help you.

3. How we use your information

To create and secure your account, provision and manage the services you order, process payments, and provide customer support.

To send essential service notices such as order confirmations, security alerts, and billing receipts. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers or sell analytics profiles about you.

5. Sharing with service providers

We share only what is necessary with the registrars, hosting infrastructure partners, and payment processors that deliver your services. These providers are bound to use your data only to perform their function.

We may disclose information if legally required to do so by a valid legal process, and only to the extent required.

6. Data retention

We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time through a support ticket.

7. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Passwords are stored as salted one-way hashes and are never visible to our staff. Access to production systems is restricted and logged.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To make a request, open a support ticket from your dashboard and we will respond promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through your account.
